are members of the Lighting Association and we follow their
codes of practice for the manufacture of our light fittings.
We are also UL approved, one of very few companies in the UK
who have successfully completed the stringent compliance procedures
to gain the much sought certification.

We offer an Electrical
Contracting service which includes maintenance as well as
full installations, periodic inspection reports, testing fire
alarms and emergency test reports. We can also supply any electrical
item required to complete an installation including fire alarm
panels, electrical kitchen equipment and many other associated
electrical items.

Design
 Light Fittings
Let us help you with your design requirements. Providing we have an outline brief from
you, let us assist and advise in selecting light fittings to
suit your requirements or even start from scratch with a totally
new concept. We would be pleased to attend your offices or site
to discuss projects or proposals.
Samples
We are happy to supply sample catalogue fittings for approval
on a sale or return basis; new developments or bespoke items
unfortunately have to be funded by clients but this is open to
negotiation dependant upon scope and the project details.
Modular Ceilings
Send us your dimensional floor plan and we will work out the
correct number and positioning of your modular fittings to a
perfectly illuminated shop or office.

We are happy to work with you at all stages of planning and preparation of a project.

Image Lighting (Manchester) Ltd., has a workforce of over 20 people with wide
ranging abilities and specialist skills.
Our manufacturing capabilities

Because we are in control of our own
manufacture, product turn-around is very short. We believe flexibility is our greatest strength.
We carry comprehensive stocks
that enable us to manufacture to order.
All our light fittings are tested
to European legislation BSEN 60598 and our equipment is regularly
calibrated and checked according to our own Quality Standards.
Our entire product is traceable
throughout its manufacture in case of need to identify any
problems. We are members of the Lighting Association and follow
their Code of Practice.
The Code of Practice has been
developed to substantiate members claims of conformity with the
low voltage directive implemented in the UK by the Electrical
Equipment (Safety) Regulators 1994, which require all products
to be manufactured in accordance with good engineering practice
and to be safe.
Conformity with EN 60598 gives
a presumption of design conformity.

Low Energy Lighting
Image Lighting (Manchester) Ltd., is one of the market leaders
in the production of decorative low energy lighting. The Company
were involved at the conceptual stage of low energy compact
fluorescent lighting and designed many new fittings including
decorative emergency luminaries.
Low Voltage Lighting
Understanding this type
of lighting is something about which Image Lighting have published papers
and indeed directives for some clients to include in their
manual "The Correct Usage and Installation of
Low Voltage Lighting and Associated Equipment".
Emergency Lighting
Not only can we design your emergency light fittings, we can
also advise on appropriate positioning and siting in accordance with current
guide lines.

wear and tear.
Our electronic low voltage transformers
carry a manufacturers guarantee of 2 years.
We maintain file records for 2 years. In
case of breakages, we are able to replace damaged lightings quickly and easily.
Our low energy and low voltage lamps can also carry a specified
life guarantee providing they are part of a planned replacement
programme.

At the end of a project the light fittings are often the last items to be installed and commissioned.
